What you'll do
The following responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage project timing plan ensuring deliverables are achieved on time.
- Manage spending costs against project budget.
- Liaise with the customer and support enquiries.
- Coordinate relevant project updates and information between stakeholders.
- Host regular customer project reviews.
- Manage project timing plans; track progress and any necessary changes.
- Risk management.
- Work closely with the MP&L team to ensure parts are received on time to achieve project deliverables.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation such as: specifications, schedules, and part movement records.
- Support quality, productivity, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are maintained.
- Authority to take photographs and video within Multimatic. Usage of photos is restricted to internal and/or sending externally as part of job-related correspondence.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Maintain a clean, and tidy working environment.
What we need from you
- Previous experience within a programmes department.
- Understanding of budgets, cost optimisation, and negotiation techniques.
- Proactive approach to work, with a positive and professional attitude.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as: Business Management; Finance; engineering or Computer Science.
- Relevant Project Management certification: Project management Professional (PMP); Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project IN Controlled Environments (PRINCE).
- Ability to work across several projects simultaneously, managing and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work self-sufficiently as part of a larger team.
- Problem-solving mentality.
- Comprehensive IT skills: Microsoft Excel experience is essential and SAP experience is desirable.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal, enabling you to liaise with and relay information to all relevant stakeholders within the business.
- Previous experience working in a low-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Commitment to support the needs of the business, team members, and colleagues.
- Willingness to learn new skills and desire for personal development.
