With a PhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Sciences, you bring profound expertise in semiconductor devices and process technologies.## What you'll be doingGas phase and surface chemical reaction model development for etching and deposition processes (called as “topography simulation”) in logic, memory and power technologies.- Verification and validation of the developed models using available data.- Calibration of the models for specific customer applications- Development of database of such gas phase and surface reaction models for different applications- Providing consulting services to customers in the area of topography simulation and enhance the value of such TCAD tools for leading edge technologies.- Collaborating with R&D, sales, marketing, and customers to drive product development and acceptance.- Managing customer projects, including definition, execution, and follow-up.## What you'll need- PhD degree and 3-5 years of industry experience in Process or Chemical Engineering, Materials Sciences, Physics or STEM related field.- In-depth knowledge and experience in semiconductor process technology, especially in gas phase and surface reaction kinetics related to wet and dry deposition (e.g. CVD, PVD, ALD ) processes and wet and dry (e.g. RIE) etch processes.- Hands-on experience with academic or commercial plasma simulation tools and semiconductor reaction simulation and/or emulation tools (such as those based on Particle in Cell methods) and chemical reaction databases/tools (such as CHEMKIN).- Experience with statistical, optimization, AI/ML tools and Python scripting is a plus.## Why this mattersDevelop topography simulation methodologies for chemical reaction modeling and calibration for semiconductor deposition and etch processes.
