We are looking for an:
International Tax Manager
As an International Tax Manager, you will report to the V.P. Tax. You will play a crucial role in the management of key tax aspects at a Group level (transfer pricing, local and Group level tax compliance, M&A and special projects).
This role will work closely with business stakeholders, Finance, Business Service Organisation, Legal and other tax teams.
Main responsibilities:
1. International Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Oversee all international tax filings, ensuring compliance with local regulations in every jurisdiction
- Monitor and interpret changes in international tax law (OECD, EU, local), assessing their impact on the Group
- Supervise and review effective tax rate calculation (quarterly and annually)
- Oversee and support tax inspections/audits
2. Transfer Pricing & Cross-Border Transactions
- Lead all transfer pricing matters, including policy design, documentation in line with OECD and local requirements
- Conduct in-depth transfer pricing analyses to support strategic decision-making and business model changes
- Provide guidance and support the Group functions (e.g. Finance, HR, R&D, Sales) on cross-border tax matter
- Advise on tax implications of cross-border sales, supply chain restructuring, and intellectual property management
- Support transfer pricing controversy, including audits, APAs, and MAPs
3. Tax Planning & Advisory
- Develop and implement tax strategies, policies and standards and guidelines for the organization
- Support M&A transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and SPA analysis
- Stay current on tax law changes, identify savings opportunities (e.g., R&D credits)
- Develop automation and process improvement initiatives
- Assist the V.P. Tax in coordinating projects to minimize tax risks, especially in response to new EU/OECD regulations (e.g., DAC 6, Hybrid rules, BEPS Actions, Pillar II)
- Identify, analyse, and mitigate cross-border tax risks, ensuring compliance with international tax laws and regulations
4. Risk Management & Governance
- Implement internal controls for intercompany pricing and profit allocation
- Liaise with external advisors and tax authorities on complex international matters
5. Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Operations, and HR to support strategic projects (e.g., new plant openings, M&A)
- Provide training and guidance on international tax and transfer pricing topics to internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with local tax consultants and local teams to manage tax risks for subsidiaries
Main requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or related field
- Tax specialization preferred
- Professional certification (CPA, CTA, or equivalent) preferred
- 5–8 years’ experience in international tax, ideally with a mix of Big 4 advisory and in-house roles within multinational groups
- Broad knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and M&A
- Experience with tax audits, APAs, MAPs, and controversy management
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
