You will configure, deploy, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless access points, in multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Aruba, Checkpoint)
You will develop and enforce network security standards and best practices
You will perform regular updates, patching, and certificate management for network devices to ensure business continuity
You will drive network automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual interventions; NAC implementation (Cisco ISE + Aruba switching)
You will diagnose and resolve complex LAN/WAN/Firewall and wireless issues promptly
You will conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for network incidents and implement preventive measures
You will troubleshoot connectivity issues related to firewalls and VPNs
You will collaborate with other IT Security teams and business units to ensure alignment of infrastructure with security and business requirements
QualificationsQualificationsQualifications
At least 5 years of experience operating IP-based network (LAN+WAN)
At least 5 years of experience on working with wireless networks (Cisco controllers is a plus)
Practical knowledge of network vendors (Aruba, Cisco)
3+ years Cisco ISE hands on experience
Familiarity with network zone concepts (e.g., DMZ, internal, external, restricted zones)
Experience in network automation tools and scripting - Python
Ability to lead technical discussions, make design decisions, and mentor junior staff
Advanced level of English ( B2-C1) and at least a medium level of German (B1)
Nice-to-have:
HP IMC experience
Exposure to cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Things to know before departure:
Start: by arrangement - always on the 1st and 15th of the month
Working hours: full-time (40h); 27 vacation days
