About the Role
The purpose of the Xtrac track support vehicle is to ensure that Xtrac Leadership, Engineers and Technicians have a base whilst at the track.
Track presence is a contractual requirement at each Cup race to support NASCAR, as the transmissions are sealed, and customers are not permitted to work on the transmissions themselves. Xtrac are required to confirm the specification of each transmission pre-event, and ensure there are no technical issues before the race, and as such the support vehicle carries emergency spare parts, tools, and gearboxes.
