Mission:
Responsible for managing forecasting activities related to the perimeter managed by Control Tower and all activities related to reporting for central execution and landing. Ensures the implementation of CTW and supply chain strategy in the allocated perimeter, increase of productivity and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities:
- Supervise the execution of the activities needed to build and share the forecast, collect feedback, analyze capacity gaps and day to day follow-up and animation, to secure the expected performance of landing
- Coordinate mutual aid, optimization, and constructive collaboration with the other departments
- Alert supply chain operations in case of capacity gaps and propose additional resources (transport/compounds) in collaboration with other departments
- Facilitate and supervise the relationship with the suppliers for managed activities (capacity dialogue)
- Represent own department in managerial meetings or with the major logistic providers
- Lead the continuous improvement under managed perimeter
- Lead changes over managed perimeter, in line with company strategical decisions
- Manage team with a concern for developing the skills and performance of its employees
- Oversee the recruitment and ensure proper training in coordination with the HR department
- Organize working time in own perimeter to ensure an efficient coverage of working time of the customer and of the providers and respecting the legal requirements
- Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining accountability for quality and results
- Provide specific data for elaboration of the annual budget; validate the needed resources and the costs of own perimeter in collaboration with Financial Manager
Our requirements:
- University degree in Logistics or Transport
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Transport Planning
- Very good command of English (spoken and written)
- Deep expertise in demand, logistic, inventory, and integrated planning, backed by strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and goal orientation
- Ability to anticipate and act effectively in crisis situations
- Excellent organizational, planning, forecasting, and leadership skills
- Customer-focused mindset
- Ability to translate business goals into actionable planning outcomes
- Strong decision-making attitude and work under pressure of time
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a team management
- VBA and Power query knowledge
- Microsoft Access SQL skills
