The Role:
The Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in analyzing market trends and driving sales growth to shape strategic decisions that support vehicles' portfolio expansion, market share leadership and business objectives. This position will also lead all marketing and branding efforts for customer care, aftersales, and ACDelco, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and delivering exceptional value to customers.
Product Marketing:
- New program launch focus, through being up to date to market desired features and requirements including regulatory items
- Establish a strong foundation for EV technology focusing on the development and offering top-notch products that not only meet market demands but stay ahead in the ever-evolving landscape of technological innovation
- Always aware of market updates and changes including price, new model launches and model year changes to ensure competitiveness
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and design, to ensure product alignment with market demands.
- Working with product planning on identifying the target customer, key competitive set strategic positioning & competitive pricing
- Assessing market opportunities for new product entries
- Challenge segment norms to deliver competitive advantages against competition by developing detailed product content to drive for brand differentiation and optimization
- Analyzing sales data and marketing performance to optimize strategies.
ACDelco Brand:
- Support all divisions under Customer Care and Aftersales by strategizing marketing plans based on priorities and business objectives per brand.
- Lead all ACDelco marketing, communication and brand activities.
• Manage and inspire creative and media agencies through briefing excellence and design thinking.
• Rethink customer experience on the digital front and redesigning community management.
• Increase footfall into ACDelco service centers
• Grow ACDelco market share in the Independent After Market.
• Design target market segmentation
• Build Brand equity for ACDelco and establish brand identity and values.
• Reposition ACDelco in the market to attract and appeal wider audiences in the Independent After Market.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor degree; preferred in marketing or management sciences
- Minimum 5 years of experience; automotive background is not a must but preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicles' specifications & features
