As a Quality Specialist - Body electronics / Infotainment / Communication Systems at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you're a crucial part of our vision to revolutionize the way we think about cars.
What awaits you?
- Work environment − daily work takes place in a modern office setting and a well-equipped workshop, where a wide range of measuring devices are available for infotainment systems, driver assistance functions, and vehicle dynamics testing. Engineers work with camouflaged test vehicles, allowing them to validate developments under real-world conditions and gain direct experience of the vehicles’ performance.
- Team − you will become a part of a diverse, 12-member professional team consisting of engineers, technicians, and test drivers working closely together. The team is supported by 2 technicians handling measurements and preparations, as well as 3 experienced test drivers ensuring the successful execution of the trials.
- Electronics testing – conducting functional testing (static and dynamic) of electric / electronic systems and components (ECU) of the vehicle including both system and customer functions.
- Root Cause Analysis – identifying the root cause, and maintaining close communication with the development team of the headquarter to ensure effective problem resolution.
- Functional testings – conduct vehicle intensive testing ensuring the quality of pre series and series software.
- Technical support – providing technical and specialized guidance to internal and external customers.
- Liason – Close collaboration with other plants and engineering team to ensure fast problem solving and effective implementation of solutions.
What should you bring along?
- Education– Master or Bachelor degree in information technology, engineering (electrical / mechatronics) or similar technical discipline.
- Work experience– 3 years+ experience in the field of Electric and Electronics with a focus on development, testing and problem analysis tasks, preferably in automotive industry.
- Work schedule – you follow a standard single-shift schedule and manage your tasks independently.
- Quality tools– Good understanding of quality methods (FMEA, Risk Management, etc.).
- Required knowledge – analysis methods on complex electric/ electronical systems.
- Language skills – Fluent English in speaking and writing, Hungarian or German language knowledge would be an advantage.
- Other requirements – driving License required, additional Driver training preferred.
