Our team at the BMW Group is dedicated to protecting automotive head units by implementing state-of-the-art Linux security technologies. Here, you will support the security team in introducing and enhancing security features for next-generation vehicles.
What awaits you?
- You will support the deployment of advanced security technologies in next-generation BMW head units as part of the development team.
- Furthermore, you will help to explore modern Linux security topics such as SELinux, namespaces, CFI, secure boot, dm-verity and cryptography.
- In addition, you will gain experience with Android security and hypervisor technologies.
- Moreover, you will contribute to the development of novel security features for automotive head unit projects.
What should you bring along?
- Studies in computer science, information security, electrical engineering or a related field.
- Solid interest and basic understanding of IT security technologies.
- Proficient programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
- Basic understanding of Linux and its internals.
- Good English skills.
