Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role In this role you’ll be responsible for reviewing & preparing the accounting entries (Account Payable & Receivable postings, closing postings, accruals, tax, payroll…) supported by the Accounting Service Center located in Portugal and ensure compliance in both French and IFRS accounting standards. You will also ensure monthly reconciliations are completed including bank, balance sheet accounts, and payroll. Coordinate the preparation of the hard close and the annual statutory accounts in French GAAP (Liasse Fiscale) with the statutory auditors Prepare and provide bi-yearly forecast of costs (material, personnel & capital expenses) to Munich Headquarters & Local directors and analyze fluctuations on a monthly basis Support transition and change within Financial Department: ERP change, e-invoicing Ensure timely tax compliance (monthly declarations and payments) and support R&D tax credit submissions by tracking eligible investment and costs, compiling the necessary documentation Ensure car fleet management in accordance with Group guidelines (including payroll calculation of Benefit in Kind) Ensure compliance with export control guidance and Handbook, provide support to the local team and act as a key user for Export Control matters Ensure compliance and adherence to the Business Conduct guidelines, to the Insider Law and to the internal rules Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed A university degree, Business school degree, or Qualified accountant (DCG/DSCG) At least 3 years of relevant job experience Up-to-date knowledge of French accounting standards and understanding of principles and concepts in IFRS, and consolidated accounts Understanding of payroll taxation issues to support HR function and knowledge of relevant institutions like external auditors and tax government bodies Excellent excel skills, SAP experience is a plus Excellent analytical and communication skills Fluency in French and EnglishPlease send us your CV in English.
