The Role The Global Energy Process Technical Integration Engineer will ensure vehicle efficiency (including fuel economy and range) development incorporates the appropriate tools, methods, and procedures associated with global region-of-sale testing requirements. This enables teams to deliver expected and predicted results. The role also ensures Energy standard work (tools, templates, processes) reflects the latest learnings from evolving export requirements. You will provide guidance to Advanced and Executing Energy teams for assessments and development/testing strategies to optimize FE/Range outcomes globally. What You'll Do Review export vehicle program status and provide feedback learnings as appropriate Support peer reviews and coordinate process and standard work changes as needed. Provide guidance and support for Global Energy Teams; ensure they conduct work per standard processes. Coordinate/support feature-function technical reviews to facilitate cross-platform learnings. Drive model changes/updates to improve model fidelity and incorporate virtual methods into development. Lead global execution standard work process changes to improve FE/Range optimization. Lead cross-functional teams to assist program teams with systemic Energy concerns and drive closure. Coordinate actions to respond to global efficiency initiatives (China C-GCAP etc.). Maintain constant communication and collaboration with: Global Public Policy & Export Certification teams Regional Vehicle Integration Execution teams Advanced Vehicle Development teams Systems Engineering Teams Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) 8+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in engineering Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and lead global teams. Ability to dissect and leverage analysis and test data. Proven ability to develop and manage Fuel Economy integration. Understanding of Fuel Economy Process & Principles (CAFE/PAFE, regional regulations, subsystem interactions). Working knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and MS Excel. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentations. Solid understanding of engineering theory and mechanical/electrical principles. Strong analytical ability for complex problems. Proven aptitude for representing the customer effectively. Passion for vehicles, transportation, and efficient systems. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Collaborative mindset emphasizing teamwork. Knowledge of Vehicle Performance Integration development process. Ability to challenge peers and supervisors when appropriate.
