Join our Underbody, Closures, Roof & Vision Validation Team as a Validation Technical Expert and help shape the future of mobility. In this role, you’ll provide global technical leadership for Brakes & Chassis Control Systems , developing robust validation strategies to ensure exceptional customer experiences and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. What You’ll Do Develop and lead validation methods for electrical, software, hardware, and control logic integration. Create evaluation procedures and templates to validate system functionality and interactions. Drive global alignment of validation activities for timely execution. Mentor and consult teams worldwide on validation best practices. Support regulatory compliance and external investigations. Implement changes from new technologies and evolving regulations. Review and approve engineering documentation (ADVP&R plans, reports, compliance letters). Champion safety and regulatory excellence. What You’ll Need (Required Qualifications) BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 7+ years in Brakes & Chassis Control Systems (e.g., Brake by Wire, ESC, TCS, Electronic Park Brake). Expertise in regulatory compliance (MVSS and global equivalents). Strong knowledge of validation tools, processes, and systems engineering. Ability to lead complex projects and navigate ambiguity. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft 360, PRTS, ECM, GDocs, VCAM, Jira, Doors NG, and CAN bus tools. DFSS Black Belt Certification and global cross-functional experience.
