Job Purpose
Coordinates, lead, evaluate, summarize, and distributes cost information, prepares budgets and analyzes cost trends.
Key Accountabilities
Create, analyze, and summarize CPU calculations based on monthly actuals for all models assigned. Confirmation of cost change reasons by part for summarization and reporting. Includes investigating & confirming BOM structure changes.
Manage, prepare, analyze, and summarize monthly cost presentation including detailed summary of cost changes & explains variances by model to PH management
Prepare, analyze, communicate & toss budget forecast information to PH Management and Accounting. (OR, PR, FC1, FC2, FC3 & BIM)
Communicates effectively with Procurement & Accounting liaisons for Monthly actual & Budget events
Effectively leads E2 to Actual cost activities between MPC & NMC after FMC MP start-up.
Provide training to new associates on monthly/budget processes.
Ensure SOX compliance through auditing process.
Manage monthly activities including Blocked/Temp quote report and Retro/Accrual processing log.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (Finance, Accounting or Business preferred).
2-6 years of relevant experience based on education.
Understanding of CART, GPCS, E-Quote, Essbase, Bill of Materials.
Knowledge of General Accounting Principles along with knowledge of general cost accounting & financial reporting.
Effective written and oral communication skills, ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, ability to analysis data and make sound judgements.
Working Conditions
OT as required during weekdays.
Open Office environment.
