What awaits you?
Your mission is to ensure the dimensional accuracy and compliance of products through expert measurement, analysis, equipment maintenance, and coordination.
- Perform geometric analyses on complete batteries and individual parts, including precise evaluation and interpretation of measurement results.
- Execute operational measurement tasks, including setting up flexible clamping systems for frequently changing projects and conducting geometric measurements.
- Develop new measurement concepts and lead measuring technology activities, appropriately dividing tasks between tactile and optical measurement methods.
- Carry out defined audit scopes based on relevant production requirements.
- Perform analyses to identify, correct, or report production errors.
- Monitor and coordinate test equipment within the defined area, ensuring measuring devices are verified according to internal maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Evaluate and prioritize incoming measurement tasks; plan measurement scopes in coordination with internal stakeholders and customers, clarifying problem definitions in analysis cases.
- Support and train apprentices, and organize and deliver internal training courses.
What should you bring along?
We are seeking experienced metrology experts with strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in the automotive or other manufacturing industries.
- 3+ years of experience in quality measurement-related roles.
- Proven expertise in quality-related fields.
- Demonstrated knowledge of metrology software, including ZEISS, Calypso, and PolyWorks.
- Ability to lead functional teams, with strong communication skills and the capability to work effectively in a team, while also maintaining the discipline to work independently and in a structured manner.
- Advanced business-level proficiency in English
