BMW Group Financial Services UK is seeking a Head of Key Accounts. This field-based role sits within ALPHERA Financial Services and reports into the Summit ONE Campus in Farnborough. The position involves extensive travel throughout the UK.
As Head of Key Accounts, you will be responsible for driving acquisition, growth, and retention strategies across all key accounts, including Brokers, major Dealer Groups, and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Financial Services. You will oversee existing partner relationships to maximise volume, product mix, and profitability while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
What awaits you?
- Hold a Certified Role and maintain Certification status.
- Manage Key Account Managers, Key Account Executive, and Concierge Manager.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for ALPHERA’s three business channels.
- Maximise sales volume, product mix, and profit opportunities across Key Accounts.
- Manage business relationships with Brokers, Dealer Groups, and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Financial Services networks.
- Drive efficiency improvements and promote the sale of supplementary products such as Commercial Finance and Insurance.
- Facilitate regular review meetings with Key Account Partners to foster open dialogue and identify growth opportunities.
- Provide financial and insurance (F&I) consultancy services to partners via Key Account Managers to optimise income per retail unit.
- Define and execute acquisition strategies for new Key Accounts.
- Make decisions to terminate Key Account relationships if they are no longer mutually beneficial.
What should you bring along?
- Degree-level education or equivalent qualification.
- FLA Diploma or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proven senior management experience within the financial services industry, preferably in motor finance.
- Strong track record in new business development and sales leadership.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills across all levels of an organisation.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
