The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Engineering Group Manager (EGM) to lead a team within the Global Virtual Engineering organization. This role focuses on advancing thermal and structural simulation capabilities and driving innovation across Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) disciplines. The EGM will be responsible for managing a team of simulation engineers, collaborating cross-functionally, and delivering high-impact virtual validation solutions that support product development and engineering excellence.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of CAE engineers specializing in thermal , electrical and co-sim.
- Oversee the execution of simulation activities including thermal management, durability, electrical high voltage /12V, and multi-physics analyses.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance simulation methodologies, tools, and workflows.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to integrate simulation results into design decisions and product development cycles.
- Ensure timely delivery of simulation results that meet quality standards and program milestones.
- Drive innovation in virtual validation through adoption of emerging technologies such as AI/ML, automation, and digital twins.
- Manage resource allocation, team development, and performance evaluations.
- Represent the CAE group in technical reviews, program meetings, and leadership forums.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing across the organization.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing projects in the automotive industry.
- Minimum of 8+ years of engineering experience.

- MS in Engineering
- Knowledge of electric and ICE propulsion systems.
- Experience with Thermal, Structural or Electrical CAE
- Experience managing an engineering team.
- Experience in synthesizing and upfront design using CAE tools
