We are looking for a Composites Technician to join our F1 Evolution team here in Silverstone! Within this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and maintenance of all our composite components for F1 Evolution events including TPC, Heritage and AMPT Projects. Key Responsibilities Assemble and maintain all trackside composite components to precise standards and within tight timescales.
Diagnose and resolve composite issues trackside using limited resources and creative problem-solving.
Build and maintain front and rear wing assemblies, floors, and bodywork.
Report all component and build issues to the Chief Mechanic and Chief Engineer – F1 Evolution.
Produce and communicate accurate shortage lists to the Lifing & Parts Coordinator.
Ensure all parts, allocations, and branding decals are correctly applied and documented.
Support garage setup and pack-down operations at global F1 Evolution events.
Work proactively and professionally, always maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Extensive knowledge of composite materials, laminating, bonding, and assembly techniques.
Proven experience in a Formula One or top-level motorsport composite environment.
Strong understanding of part allocation, engineering drawings, and build specifications.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The flexibility to travel globally and work irregular hours as required.
