NASCAR is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Senior Treasury Analyst to join its Treasury team located in our Daytona Beach, Florida office.
The Senior Treasury Analyst role is responsible for managing daily cash operations, merchant service and company credit card accounts, month-end accrual and bank account reconciliations, performing ad hoc analysis for investment and risk management purposes, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, solution-oriented, experience with Workday, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Analyze cash flows and make recommendations to allocate cash balances to maximize yield while ensuring compliance with investment policies
- Month-end bank and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Review, maintain, and recommend enhancements to treasury system configuration and banking platforms
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc treasury reports for senior leadership consumption
- Prepare analysis and recommendations to manage interest rate and foreign currency exposure
- Support bank and merchant service relationship management and fee analysis
- Maintain awareness of emerging trends in treasury and advise leadership on potential for adoption
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Support treasury-related projects, including system enhancements and process improvements
- Collaborate with internal department managers (Accounting, Tax, Business Partnership) to support Finance department change initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, or finance.
- Understanding of cash management, financial instruments, and treasury operations.
- Proficiency in Workday
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of financial risk management and capital markets
COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient on Company provided hardware and software, and exceptional skills in banking, credit card and merchant services systems.
