Our team at the BMW Group explores innovative AI solutions to enhance automated software testing for ECU software. During your working student position, you will work closely with our development team to research, experiment, and develop innovative approaches to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes using AI technologies.
What awaits you?
- You will support collaboration with the development team to identify areas where AI can automate testing processes.
- Furthermore, you help to research and experiment with AI techniques such as machine learning and natural language processing for intelligent testing solutions.
- In addition, you contribute to designing and developing AI models and algorithms to automate test case generation, execution, and defect detection.
- Moreover, you will assist in evaluating and comparing different AI-based testing approaches and provide recommendations.
- You help to document and present your findings, methodologies, and results to the team.
- Additionally, you support the independent completion of tasks and receive regular feedback from your mentor.
What should you bring along?
- Studies in computer science, engineering or a related field.
- Strong interest and knowledge in artificial intelligence and its applications.
- Basic understanding of requirements engineering concepts.
- Programming skills in Python, Java or other relevant languages.
- Ability to support both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with AI technologies (e.g. machine learning or NLP frameworks) and familiarity with generative AI and agile methods is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities paired with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
