Job Purpose
The incumbent will be responsible for the development & implementation of Pricing & Product for Retail & Corporate Finance products (BMW/MINI/Motorrad/Alphera/Insurance/Corporate) including the annual review of all BMW Group products, as well as competitor analysis.
The role is responsible for making sure that the full New Product Process is adhered to from the start of a new product, from development to go live, making sure that all back end (IT development) is considered until the end of the customer journey, as well as enhancements to existing products.
The role is a FLV.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for development & implementation of Incentive programmes in collaboration with BMW Group Financial Services Sales & Insurance.
- Creating and maintaining training material for both internal & external stakeholders
- Regularly complete a competitor analysis to support strategic pricing and product forms for Head Office/Region
- Develops & defines new Retail finance products methodology in line with BMW Group Financial Services guidelines & policies
- Develops Retail finance products (loans & rental products offered by BMW Group Financial Services) to support the business strategy & balance scorecard
- Develops and maintains Retail Finance Product training material for internal & external stakeholders
- Responsible for the overall effective running of the Quarterly Product & Pricing Committee (PPC)
- including Agenda, minutes
- Annual review of by-laws and sales guidelines and any other policies applicable to PPC
- New product development to be within BMW Group Financial Services guidelines and policies like New Product Process (NPP).
- Identify and recommend new ways to streamline business processes through the analysis of systems, data, and processes.
- Continuously assess future growth prospects to support development of the marketing strategy plan.
- Ensure data compliance within area of responsibility.
- Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.
- Drive automation/efficiencies /process optimization across all processes.
- Develops & defines pricing for Retail & Corporate Finance products methodology in line with BMW Group Financial Services guidelines & policies.
- Develops and prices Retail & Corporate finance products to support the business strategy & balance scorecard.
- Calculates the pricing of Retail Finance products for all loan and rental products offered by BMW Group SF.
- Maintains strong & positive relationship with BMW Brand Sales & Product development as well as internally with Marketing, Product, Sales Steering, Operations, Risk, Finance & Controlling and Alphera & Insurance
- Run calculations to plan & monitor Retailer /Dealer Incentive programmes & loyalty/bonus programmes
- Identifies & anticipates market development through competitor analysis
- Develop, implement and maintain sales processes & active involvement in supporting sales of all brands in BMW Group.
- Be able to develop and present business cases to management
- Investigate data on behalf of Management to identify trends
- Be able to present at Retailer/Dealer forums
- Support internal departments & Retailer network on Retail Finance Products
- Support sales in the development, review & overall management of the Retailer/Dealer Incentive
- programmes including completing scorecards
- Enquiries from Dealers/Retailers, Supplier liaison relating to points processing and payment and
- registration processes & systems for incentive programmes
- Managing monthly Incentive programme payout (Engage)
- Highlight areas of concern within projects to support business decisions
Educational Background / Professional Knowledge and Experience
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Finance
- Relevant Post Graduate degree is advantageous
- 4-6 years professional experience within a similar role in financial services/ motor industry
- Proven experience in handling large amounts of data (transaction data, customer data, etc.)
- Excel (advanced) MS Office (advanced - PowerPoint and Word)
- A detailed understanding of the retail finance industry and/or motor industry
- Sound Knowledge of Financial Services business lines
- Above-average analytical skills and structured proceeding
- Ability to deliver exquisite results in a fast-paced environment.
- High ability to convince and to bring arguments forward
- Assertiveness and ability to present your work on management level and to multiple audiences at different levels
