In your new role you will:
- Drive state-of-the-art automotive technologies by leveraging embedded systems validation experience to ensure the quality and reliability of software products
- Be responsible for the validation of device drivers used for communication or signal generation/measurements (e.g., SPI, UART, PWM, ADC, DMA, etc.)
- Investigate, implement, and maintain verification and validation methods and infrastructure to improve quality and efficiency
- Drive innovation in test methods, tools, test automation, and test infrastructure to advance the field
- Institutionalize software test processes that comply with Automotive standards (e.g., ISO26262, ASPICE)
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to design, execute, and automate tests, identify and document issues, and contribute to continuous improvement
- Have ownership of reviews, including test specifications and scripts, to ensure thoroughness and accuracy
You are best equipped for this position if you have:
- Experience in Device Driver software testing with knowledge of standard software development Life Cycle
- Knowledge of embedded system software development or Validation using C and assembly languages
- Proficiency in programming languages such as OOP, C#, .NET, and Python
- Experience in developing and maintaining test automation and continuous integration frameworks
- Hands-on experience with tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN, branching)
- Fluency in English, with a forward-thinking and adaptable approach to learning and growth
