Brembo North America, a world leader and innovator in the design and manufacturing of braking systems and components, is seeking a Training Facilitator for the Homer, Michigan Cast Iron Foundry Plant location.
The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, will have an ability to take initiative, and to prioritize daily tasks.
Responsibilities
Training
- Coordination & tracking of all employee training
- Prepare and organize training course materials such as handouts and / or visual materials
- Ensure proper documentation of all training records / activity in the plant
- Ensure training is delivered in an effective manner (consider cost, quality, safety, etc.)
Kaizen
- Assistance with Kaizen events until all items are complete
- Communicate process and metric improvements to facilitate further excitement
- Develop standard work combination sheets and one-point lessons necessary for each Kaizen Event.
- Assist in use of proper training tools necessary for success
Administrative
- Manage miscellaneous training grants
- Data entry and filing
- Optimize reports used for improvement activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
1-3 years experience in manufacturing environment
Out of English, Spanish or another second language is preferred.
