At Formula 1, we are passionate about delivering the world’s greatest sports and entertainment spectacle leaving a positive legacy wherever we race. Innovation has always been at the heart of what we do ever since our first Grand Prix in 1950. Now, 75 years on, the sport remains a pioneer, developing technologies that have made a significant impact on society beyond the track.
Everything you see on screen or at an event comes via our passionate and dedicated people. Whether its engineering, broadcast, legal, logistics, security, event management, commercial, media rights, marketing, or communications there is always a talented team working to maximise the potential of the sport.
Formula 1 is the pinnacle of global motorsport, delivering world-class racing across five continents and over 21 countries. With over 800 million fans and a broadcast reach of over 1.5 billion, F1 is one of the most watched and celebrated sports in the world. Our mission is to deliver the world’s greatest sports and entertainment spectacle with innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability at the heart of our future growth.
The Future Race Operations (FRO) Programme is a major transformation initiative aligned with Formula 1’s 2030 Net Zero ambition. Its core aim is to reduce reliance on air freight by shifting to sea and land freight, thereby cutting costs and emissions. This involves rethinking how trackside operations are structured and supported, including equipment, logistics, planning, technology and team workflows.
We are looking for a motivated individual to support the delivery of this critical programme, working directly with the Director of Transport Logistics & Cargo and Director of Strategy – as well as several other senior stakeholders across the business.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Support delivery of the FRO Programme, working closely with the programme leadership to define & embed operational change required to transition to the new race operating model
• Shape and implement organisational changes through broad stakeholder engagement to drive adoption of new processes and tools
• Work closely with programme sponsor and cross-functional teams to develop the scope, deliverables, resourcing, work plan and budget for FRO change initiatives
• Manage key workstreams ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and timeline constraints
• Deliver projects in line with FRO governance process ensuring complete alignment across critical F1 stakeholders
• Track transformation progress through KPIs and deliver insights for continuous improvement, managing issues and risks with clear mitigation plans, following an escalation process where needed
We look forward to welcoming you to the Formula 1 family.
