Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Spring Hill on a full-time basis. The Role: In this role, you will oversee a small to medium group of salaried maintenance Group Leaders. Leads the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard GM maintenance systems. You will conduct appropriate checks and tests and communicates evaluation of results. Responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions, recommends solutions to problems, and meets schedule and quality requirements in addition to the following responsibilities. What You'll Do (Responsibilities): Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements Implements divisional and corporate policies Implements safety and good housekeeping practices Frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work group Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment Participates in the selection of new employees Trains, develops and evaluates employees Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project Leads technical guidance for complex and unusual plant operations or projects Assists in the development of budgets and forecasts within assigned area Obtains a deep knowledge and ability to implement GMS principles Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications): Technical degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related experience. 5+ years of experience in automotive maintenance, with a strong background in Stamping and Injection Molding operations. Deep understanding of maintenance planning in an automotive manufacturing environment. Familiarity with Fanuc robotics and automated Stamping and Injection Molding systems. Proficiency in GPM&C, MAXIMO, and scheduling tools. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes without direct authority. Skilled in guiding shift-level maintenance operations and driving performance through collaboration. Expertise in Practical Problem Solving (PPS) and GMS methodology. Ability to create and deliver shift-level reports and maintenance reviews. What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications): Experience supporting new vehicle launches and developing maintenance plans from the ground up. Strong understanding of how Stamping and Injection Molding maintenance performance influences downstream operations. Demonstrated success in driving cross-functional problem-solving and process control initiatives. Comfort navigating maintenance systems and presenting complex data in a clear, strategic format. Commitment to quality and responsiveness through proactive maintenance and process control. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to plant leadership.
