The Role
The Launch Breakpoint Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and communicating timing of engineering work orders for the Fort Wayne assembly plant. In this role, you will manage, track, and coordinate engineering changes that impact materials, parts, and processes. This role will support managing current and future model year EWO’s and provide GEPICS support. As a key liaison between various stakeholders, you will ensure seamless change management across the supply chain and production teams. Responsible for coordinating and communicating timing of engineering work orders for the plant.
What You'll Do

Provides plant Engineering Change coordination

Manage and coordinate part number changes and revise breakpoint dates with engineering teams, suppliers, other assembly plants, and various other stakeholders.

Creates and distributes ECS notification sheets

Maintain ECR database and generate detailed change reports.

Responsible to writing local specs for plant

Manage MGO activity for old/new part changes

Verifies Production Trial Run (PTR) status for all changes

Utilize emerge for engineering change inquiry information

Sets up family address codes and statements in MGO

Manage/review broadcast status and issues
-
Manage/review vehicle holds, status counters, and block builds

Manage order flow into the plant and daily order line-up into Body Shop

Review No-Hit/Multi Hit report to ensure part & data file broadcasts are accurate

Manage vehicle restrictions through assembly process.

Communicate special build needs and routine GEPICS checks

Support plant floor and quality with trace data & EOL (end of line) testing

Collaborate with Production, Suppliers, VAA, LLP & Offsite Storage Locations on material & broadcast issues

Support ECR Changes, Part Trial Run (PTR) changes & Change Implementation Coordinator (CIC) activities
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Experience in manufacturing supply chain
