Intern Procurement

Porsche Singapore is offering a Procurement internship opportunity. The successful intern will support all rounded procurement functions, including vendor on-boarding management, tender process, procure-to-pay, reporting and process improvement.
- Collaborate with functional departments and headquarters on procurement requirements and planning.
- Facilitate pre-procurement vendor evaluation for business partner registration
- Support the procure-to-pay process, including the tender process (issuance of request for proposals/quotations, comparison, evaluation, negotiation), purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Manage the procurement system and processes in accordance with the relevant directives, policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards
- Prepare routine management reports on procurement activities and assist Manager Finance in retail operating leverage performance review
- Review new business partners and perform relevant checks.
- Conduct onboarding and annual procurement training
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Past internship experience preferred (in Supply Chain or Procurement)
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Strong management, interpersonal and communication skills
- Open-minded, organised, analytical, self-motivated and proactive
- Good team player and willing to work in a multicultural environment
