Work Arrangement:
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
We are seeking skilled engineer with Body Tooling and Process Designing to perform virtual Bodyshop process validation using FEA analysis. The candidate expected to have knowledge of CAD (Siemens NX ) & FEA application (Hyper mesh & Ansa) as core to create simulation model with Keysight (Visual Assembly & Assembly simulation) by collecting inputs from Siemens NX, TcAE and process designer. AI + NX Open & Python programming to automate and enhance workflows of FEA application to streamline interactive design processes and integrate with external systems.
What You’ll Do
-
Build Bodyshop process models (locating, clamping and joining) with reference to existing production process, execute single step formability study results.
-
Develop Panel and Assembly mesh using scan data, execute simulation model for different joining methods.
-
Execute Drill panel variations setup and perform analysis.
-
Responsible for analyzing VBTAC report and simulate corrective steps to improve dimensional results.
-
Develop solutions by iterations with clamping and weld sequence to pass tooling 101 study.
-
Develop and maintain scripts using NX Open with Python to automate Siemens NX CAD workflows.
-
Integrate AI chatbots for interactive user input/output workflows within Siemens NX.
-
Customize NX environments to improve productivity and user experience.
-
Automate repetitive tasks in CAD, manage assemblies, drafting, and part modelling.
-
Utilize OCR tools like OpenCV and Tesseract-OCR to extract data from drawings or images.
-
Integrate NX with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) and other external tools via APIs.
-
Ensure seamless integration of Siemens NX with PLM systems (Teamcenter) and external tools.
