Work Arrangement:
Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Technical/Innovation Center in Mountain View (CA) or Milford (MI) three times per week, at minimum. This position can be located at either of these 2 locations. If the location is Mountain View (CA) you will be required to travel to Michigan one week a month.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, definition, and development for products associated with rear and lateral impact mitigation, with an opportunity to expand into other products within the Autonomous Vehicle (AV) domain. This role involves identifying market opportunities, driving product vision, strategies, and roadmaps within the ADAS team’s broader objectives. You will play a key role in GM’s vision of a world with Zero Crashes and our transformation to industry leadership in software & services.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Incorporate data, research, market analysis, and hands-on experience to inform product strategies and roadmaps
- Establish and prioritize product requirements to solve critical business and customer problems.
- Drive product development with world class software, design, and program management teams to achieve key milestones.
- Define, track, and analyze key product metrics, user feedback, and performance data to measure success and identify improvement areas.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for your product portfolio, providing guidance to internal teams and external partners.
- Communicate product status and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Actively monitor emerging trends, incorporate data, research, and market
analysis to inform, define, prioritize, and drive execution of product roadmap
that spans featu - Help drive a data-driven culture and establish and monitor key metrics to
measure the effectiveness of active safety initiatives and continuous improvement items
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- 5+ years of product management or related industry experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with complex software solutions
- Able to define vision and strategy for software products with little precedence already established
- Operate with a high level of independent judgment and proactively address obstacles as they arise
- Proven oral and written communication skills; ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to non-technical partners
- Comfortable with complex and ambiguous problems and situations, and adept at identifying a project’s risks
- Enthusiastic and resilient in a constantly evolving environment where creative solutions are the norm.
- If located in California, this position will travel to Michigan 1x per month

Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of the California Bay Area.
- The salary range for this role is $131,000 - $202,000. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
- Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
