Hendrick Motorsports is growing its presence in the defense industry with a focus on advanced ground vehicle development. We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineering Design Intern (PartTime) to join our team and work on impactful, hands-on projects that strengthen national security.

What You’ll Do:

Support design and testing of automotive structures and components.
Develop CAD models, drawings, and design documentation.
Assist with shop activities, prototype builds, and PLM data entry.
Help investigate system issues and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with engineers to evaluate designs for performance, cost, and feasibility.

What We’re Looking For:

Current full-time student pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
Sophomore or junior standing preferred.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Available to work 15+ hours per week during the semester.
Strong interest in automotive systems and hands-on engineering.
