Tasks
You will contribute to the agile development of a framework for the automatic calibration of driver assistance systems using reinforcement learning.
You will assist with the optimization of the software architecture, the implementation of code changes, the expansion of functionality, and the integration of new components.
You will support test drives on the vehicle, for example, with the installation/removal and operation of measurement technology or with organizational support.
You will assist with measurement data processing and the documentation of results.
You will support the migration and commissioning of the framework on cloud-based infrastructure.
Requirements
You are currently studying computer science or another degree program with a focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, reinforcement learning, or automotive and/or electrical engineering.
You have good programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
Initial experience with ROS2 is an advantage.
You are familiar with Linux.
You have initial experience with CARLA.
An affinity for driver assistance systems and highly automated driving is an advantage.
Your strengths include strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as the ability to work independently.
Requirement: Valid enrollment at a college or university (alternatively, you are taking a gap year).
Start: October 2025 or later.
Duration: 6 months.
Working hours: Full-time (40 hours/week).
Other: Valid residence permit with work permit required.
