DRIVE YOUR FUTURE
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Engineer, responsible for troubleshooting automatic systems, performing improvements on systems to minimize downtime, while keeping safety as a priority. This position is owner-side and requires strong coordination, technical oversight, and site follow-up skills to ensure quality, safety and timely completion.
YOUR CORE ACTIVITIES
Troubleshoot automated systems using expertise in microprocessors, PLCs, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensors, feedback systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Diagnose and resolve operational issues or system failures.
Implement improvements in systems, components, and processes.
Maintain electromechanical equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Install, program, and modify robot controllers, diagnostics parameters, end-of-arm tooling, and conveyors.
Program robotic equipment and develop robotic path motions to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality.
Design, program, simulate, and test automated machinery and processes.
Identify opportunities for automation in manufacturing and software workflows.
Develop and implement software for controlling and monitoring mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues related to automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, improve, and optimize systems.
Prepare documentation and technical reports on automation projects.
Train customers and personnel on proper installation, operation, and maintenance of robots and automated systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
Stay up to date with the latest automation technologies and methodologies.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
· Education: Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as electronic, electromechanical or mechatronic engineer
· Competence: Good knowledge of Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal, Rockwell, Bosch PLC and drive systems Win CC Flexible, Simotion Scout/Starter
· Experience: 3-5 years of experience and exposure to industrial/automotive environment
· Others: Flexibility, Dynamic person, Both results and process oriented, Independence with a ‘hand-on” initiative, English advanced level
· High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in analysis and reporting.
· Flexibility: adaptable to changing work environments and varying project requirements proficiency in written and spoken English.
