Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Flint Assembly on a full-time basis.
The Role:
As a member of the Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for support in one of the key areas: manufacturing/warehouse operations, supply chain systems and processes, launch execution and scheduling and material management. You will act as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, warehousing/manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to resolve issues and to provide support.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- GEPICS system material coordination
- Sets up and maintains family address codes and statements in MGO
- Creates, monitors, modifies or deletes broadcast codes for manifest changes per production build or EWO's
- Runs search and find request screens for production, yard campaigns, broadcast changes, etc.
- Sets up and maintains profiles and formats for build documents, run sheets, manifests, or formats for PLC's
- Interfaces with IT on all GEPICS systems concerns
- Maintains broadcast statements for build documents in the MGO and GEPICS systems
- Run Rebroadcast job after batch cycle is complete (Daily)
- Works reports designated for broadcast and GEPICS maintenace information (Daily)
- Responds to production department requests and problems
- Completes other special projects/assignments
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (automotive industry at least 3 years)
- Medium level of Interpersonal skills to work effectively with other
- Knowledge of material department operation, manufacturing processes, and departmental relationships
- Planning and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work off-shift and over-time as needed
