Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
The career level process engineer, able to work autonomously with occasional guidance from supervision. Skilled in equipment/tooling alternatives, sequence and flow of operations for the effective utilization of personnel, material, machines and facilities necessary for the production of parts. Work is performed in a centralized manufacturing engineering activity or assembly/plant activity where creativity and initiative is exercised as well as independent judgment.
LEVEL EXPECTATIONS:
Intermediate level professional, requiring independent judgment and decision-making on significant matters as well as experience and or specialized training typically obtained through a specialized course of academic instruction.
EXPERTISE

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and fine-tune AI/ML models for parametric modeling, assemblies, drafting, and feature-based design.

Create and maintain reusable CAD-AI libraries, toolkits, and documentation.

Evaluate, validate, and benchmark model performance using appropriate metrics.

Deploy AI models into production environments in collaboration with IT/AI teams.

Establish monitoring and maintenance processes to ensure model accuracy over time.

Ensure that all AI solutions comply with organizational data security, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.

Document workflows, results, and lessons learned for organizational knowledge sharing.

Stay updated on advancements in DFM, industry-specific CAD practices, generative design and topology optimization techniques.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Bachelor’s or Masters Degree Mechanical/Automobile/Production /Mechatronics Engineering discipline or similar.

7+ years experience in Core CAD customization at Automotive Domain using NX.
-
Should have executed at least 2 end-to-end projects in the CAD AI domain (from problem definition to deployment).

In-depth knowledge of parametric modeling, assemblies, drafting, and feature-based design.

Proficiency in C#, Python, C++, or Java for CAD automation.

Proficiency with CAD APIs (NX) including Data model update

Proficiency in developing and maintaining Start part and Master Modeling for multiple commodities

Proficiency in template creation for Model Based Design and associated Add On development

Experience working with CAD convertors

Experience in ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).

Experience with geometry processing, 3D data handling, and feature extraction.

Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.

Understanding of data annotation tools and MLOps workflows

Experience with CICD Deployment

Experience in domain-specific AI use cases (manufacturing, automotive, etc.).
