Irrigation Specialist(Full-Time)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Licensed Irrigation Specialist to join our facilities team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and optimizing irrigation systems across our property to ensure efficient water usage and healthy landscaping.

Requirements
Requirements & Essential Functions:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, controllers, piping, and valves.
- Diagnose and resolve leaks, pressure issues, and equipment malfunctions.
- Program and adjust irrigation controllers for seasonal needs and water efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with TCEQ and local water regulations, including backflow prevention.
- Work closely with landscaping and facilities teams to ensure property-wide irrigation efficiency.
- Recommend upgrades and retrofits to improve system performance and reduce water waste.

Required Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Irrigation License (TCEQ).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with commercial or large-scale irrigation systems.
- Strong understanding of hydraulics, controllers, valves, and water management.
- Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and wiring diagrams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with smart irrigation controllers and water management software.
- Knowledge of landscaping and turf care best practices.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Physical Demand & Work Environments:
- Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
- Work in extreme environments outdoors throughout the year.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events.
