What awaits you?
- As a Joining Process Engineer Coordinator, you will be responsible for the development, control, and standardization of tightening, riveting, and screwing technologies for our new 6th generation high-voltage batteries.
- Develop, standardize, and optimize our joining processes (tightening, riveting, and screwing), including a qualification strategy for all new technologies.
- Work closely with the production and maintenance teams to solve complex problems, improve system availability, and ensure a highly efficient, automated production line.
- Lead projects with suppliers and internal teams to implement modifications and optimizations on time and within budget.
- Be an active member of our global network, introducing new innovations (such as Industry 4.0 applications) and sharing the best practices from the BMW Group.
What should you bring along?
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in automotive industry with a strong understanding of joining technologies and experience as a project management.
- Depth knowledge of tightening, riveting, and screwing technologies.
- Good communication skills, ability to work in a team and experience working in international environments.
- Fluent business English.
