The Role:
This position will be responsible for Gen VI launch and will report to the Plant Director. This position will assume responsibility for managing the Pattern Shop. The individual must have strong leadership skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively across multiple channels (verbal and written). This person should also have extensive experience with leading project teams and possess strong analytical skills. Experience working on new product introductions is required along with proven success driving continuous improvement efforts focused on quality, cost, delivery, and launch readiness. The individual needs to have proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Teams.
What You'll Do: (Responsibilities):
Responsible to manage salaried employees in the implementation and execution of the established business process for an area in the casting operations and foster an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation. Work is of a technical nature using independent judgment within the limits of GMS; focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE). Possess the ability to deal with complex problems.
