Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is a 365-entertainment destination for world-class events located in Austin, TX. The sports and entertainment portfolio at COTA is unmatched in the country with Formula 1 US Grand Prix, NASCAR and MotoGP attracting global fans during championship races on the famed Circuit and Live Nation producing over 30 headline concerts every year at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. Opening in 2026, COTA’s amusement park is a 30-acre theme park featuring two first of their kind Roller Coasters and over three dozen rides.
Job Description
COTALAND is looking for a highly organized and creative individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you will support the Marketing Team 30 hours a week on site by assisting with the creation of engaging and compelling content across various platforms, including email campaigns, websites, partnerships, and in-park materials. Your work will play a key role in shaping the visual and written elements of our marketing initiatives, ensuring they align with our brand’s voice and objectives. This is a part-time, onsite role.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Create compelling copy and creative concepts for owned media, partnerships, and in-park materials.
- Work closely with the design team, marketing team, park teams, and other stakeholders to capture in park content and ensure content is visually appealing, on-brand, and effective for target audiences.
- Support in creating and updating content for the company website, ensuring the messaging is consistent and reflective of COTALAND’s goals.
- Assist in developing creative content for partnerships, including but not limited to promotional materials, joint campaigns, and co-branded content.
- Contribute to the creation of signage, posters, flyers, and other in-park collateral that promotes events, activities, and brand initiatives.
- Ensure all creative materials are aligned with COTALAND’s branding guidelines and contribute to maintaining a consistent brand image across all marketing touchpoints.
- Collaborate with PR team and edit content as needed to promote engagement organically on social platforms.
- Help manage timelines and track progress on creative projects, ensuring deadlines are met and work is delivered on time and on budget.
- Assist with monitoring the performance of creative materials, including email open rates, click-through rates, and website traffic, and help refine strategies based on findings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a creative and marketing support role.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in content management systems and email marketing platforms.
- Basic understanding of design tools (Adobe Creative Suite or similar) and an eye for design.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.
- A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in the marketing field.
