Tasks
As a team, we...
... develop the center console and the passenger air vents in every Porsche. To meet the highest standards of quality and functionality, we use state-of-the-art simulation methods in flow simulation (CFD) and structural simulation (FEM). During your internship, you will have the opportunity to gain or expand experience in both disciplines, as well as actively contribute to the automation and further development of simulation processes and methods.
Start: April 2026
Duration: 6 months
What awaits you?
Preparing, conducting, and evaluating CFD and FEM simulations
Optimizing air-conducting components and structural components
Advancing our simulation and optimization methods
Automating simulation processes using scripts
Requirements
What sets you apart?
A technical or scientific degree, e.g., mechanical engineering, simulation technology, physics, computer science, or a similar degree program, at least in the third semester or in a gap year between bachelor's and master's degrees
Interest in fluid/structural simulation
Ideally, experience with CAE software (Siemens Simcenter Star-CCM+, LS-DYNA, Hypermesh, or similar)
Ideally, programming experience in e.g., Java, Python, Matlab, or similar
Ideally, previous experience with AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
