Position Overview:
Multimatic Niche Vehicles (MNV) is seeking to recruit a Vehicle Quality Inspector to perform inspections on in-process and finished build vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing in-process inspections to ensure that vehicle builds meet the high-quality standard set by MNV
Performing final inspections to ensure that each vehicle meets customer standards prior to being shipped
Ensuring that all in process builds and end-products meet regulatory requirements as specified
Strong ability to participate in problem solving and root cause analysis on the shop floor
Communicate inspection results to plant
Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
Comply with relevant health and safety legislation and company health and safety practices
Education and Experience
Quality relevant or Technical college certification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multitask
Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced challenging environment
Understanding of structured quality problem solving tools and documentations
Ability to take initiative and recognize needs as required
Handle highly sensitive and confidential material
Minimum of 3 years automotive experience, OEM(s), Tier 1 & Tier II. With good understanding of fit and function and assembly processes with technical competencies
Must have reliable transportation
Sound knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Good understanding of PPAP, PCP and PFD will be an asset
