EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Experience as a tool and die maker a plus
• Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization, customers, suppliers, sub-contractors, engineers, etc.
• Negotiation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the assembly department and press department equipment.
• Computer skills in the area of spreadsheets, word processing, CAD, CMM, design and data bases.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Travel Requirements – as needed
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents and statures from jurisdictional agencies and governmental units, procedure manuals, and specification manuals. Ability to write instructions, plant operating procedures, and routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, regulatory agencies, and employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply basic concepts of physical science.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding and create instructions from technical data or statutes furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Interpret and apply regulations and procedures to situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate frequently works near moving parts. The associate is frequently exposed to electromagnetic fields, risk of electric shock and vibration. Associate may be subject to temperature extremes for extended periods of time.
