Job Purpose
The Facilities Support Specialist executes regular preventive maintenance, receives and completes incoming daily maintenance requests, troubleshoots maintenance-related situations, maintains vendor/contractor partnerships, and ensures the general building operations of HFCU properties are in working order.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Key Accountabilities
Schedule and carry out planned maintenance and unplanned repair activities on facility equipment, occasionally including tasks outside of the regular business hours and with third-party vendors
Receive, claim, and finalize facilities maintenance requests in Facilities Management Express
Support the facilities department's planned projects and collaborate with various departments to support their projects from a facilities perspective
Schedule and carry out planned inspections and audits with local vendors or officials
Other Job-Specific Skills
Broad knowledge of Facilities related systems, Including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Suppression
Ability to build relationships
