About the team:
You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for shaping the future of commercial vehicle products in Japan. Our team works cross-functionally with global engineering, sales, and strategy teams to deliver innovative and competitive solutions to our customers.
What you can look forward to as Market Product Manager:
- Develop and manage product strategy, including portfolio and roadmap, pricing, and lifecycle management (Phase-in / Phase-out)
- Drive new product specifications and lead business development initiatives
- Manage customer requirements and propose product optimization or upgrades
- Provide pricing and quotation support, including CQ (Cost Quotation) process alignment
- Conduct commercial vehicle market intelligence and competitive analysis
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across regions and functions to implement strategy
- Support program advancement with a proactive, goal-oriented attitude
Your profile as Market Product Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of product management experience across full program lifecycle in the automotive industry; global program experience is preferred
- Strong skills in product industrialization (OP planning / engineering)
- Excellent communication and logical thinking skills; strong team player with fast learning capability
- High resilience and initiative; able to work under pressure and drive program progress
- Strong cultural competence and ability to collaborate in cross-functional international teams
- Fluent in English and Japanese(oral and written); German language skills are a plus
- PMP certification is a plus
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
