Your role as Business Analyst is to help collate and translate customer journeys, business requirements and processes to systems design. This role will work closely with both our business colleagues, programme team,system architects and managers in our team. Experience in relevant industries such as hospitality, leisure and retail is desired.
Silverstone are evaluating and deploying a number of business-critical systems and processes and are seeking a Business Analyst who serves as a bridge between business needs and technology solutions. This role involves analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver data-driven recommendations that support strategic decisions and drive efficiencies

Key Responsibilities
- Customer Journey: working with the business to understand and document the journeys that our corporate and individual customers take, and to make that a smoother, more exciting and enjoyable experience.
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and collect detailed requirements.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Interpret complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; present findings in clear, actionable formats.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate current business processes and propose enhancements to optimize performance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to align teams and validate proposed solutions.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain functional specifications, business cases, process flows, and other relevant documentation.
- Project Support: Assist in project planning, execution, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management efforts
- With users, create, execute, monitor and drive functional and user acceptance testing.
- Identify system requirements: Work with stakeholders to determine the needs and specifications for new systems/enhancements.
- Identify process changes and the downstream impacts of new systems/changes
- Liaise with users: Communicate with users to gather additional requirements and features.
- Document interfaces: Create documentation for the interaction between new and legacy systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams: Work closely with developers and other IT professionals to design and implement new systems.
- Validate changes: Test new systems to ensure they meet performance and security standards.
- Train users: Provide training planning, material production, execution and support to users on new systems.
- Ensure deadlines and budgets are met: with the programme team, manage projects to stay within time and budget constraints.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and technical developments.
Team Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with IT Team;

- Escalate issues with thoughtful consideration of the team;
- Identify any training you may need within a new system and how the team use these new tools;
- Have meaningful discussions with the rest of the Business Systems Team to support them and receive support for your role;
- Liaise and guide the business on new requests (projects and enhancements to existing systems) and guide them through the request and approval process
- Work with the business on new requests and advise on justification / validity of the request
Performance Responsibilities
- Performance will be monitored against the following:
- Objectives set through the Personal Development Review (PDR) process.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following sectors is preferred:
o Retail
o Leisure
o Hospitality
- Proven experience in business analysis, process improvement, or systems analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies is a plus.
- Technical proficiency: Knowledge of software development, business information systems, and programming languages.
- Process mapping and impact analysis
- Strong testing planning, execution and monitoring experience
- Working knowledge of testing tools
- Attention to detail: Ensuring system accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work under pressure and fixed time scales
- Ability to work independently when required and manage your own workload
