We require an experienced Test Technician to provide dedicated support to the testing of high-performance Race/OEM powertrains (ICE & EV) to join us for an initial fixed term period of up to 12 months. You must be able to demonstrate:• A minimum of 2 years of experience in ICE Testing and / or EV testing• Good GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grades• An understanding of base engine and EV powertrain operation• Working knowledge of Powertrain Control Systems (ICE / EV)• In depth knowledge of full engine/EV powertrain dynamometer and sub-system rig testing• A good level of IT literacy• Strong mechanical aptitude• Logic approach to problem solving• Previous High Voltage training is an advantageCombined with this experience, it is essential that you possess:• Honesty and integrity • The ability to work effectively as an individual and as a member of a team, even when under pressure• Tidy work ethic• Good organisational skills• Flexibility to meet tight deadlines• Willingness to work additional hours or undertake shift work to fulfil the project requirements• Strong communication skills in verbal and written formatsBenefits:• A competitive salary which will reflect your career to date, as well as your skills and level of experience • Performance related bonus• 35 days standard annual leave• Generous non-contributory pension scheme • Company-wide team activity events• A private medical health scheme • Life assurance• On site parking and easy walking access to shops, cafes and buses.
