JOB DESCRIPTION:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build full vehicle model in ADAMS environment compatible for ride and handling
- Perform K&C, Ride and Handling studies using ADAMS/CAR full vehicle simulation
- Tune/optimize the suspension system for better ride and handling behavior
- Test data processing and interpretation, improve fidelity on Virtual model to correlate with test data
- Work with flexible bodies
Essential:
- Theoretical and intuitive Knowledge on Vehicle Dynamics domain
- Hands on experience with Building Multi-body models of vehicles through Adams/Car
- Hands on experience in performing K&C, ride comfort studies and vehicle handling simulations
- Exposure to Optimization/DOE
- Knowledge on simplified mathematical models for vehicle dynamics
- Fundamentals on Tire models
- Good knowledge in static analytical calculations and engineering fundamentals.
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
Education: B.E /B.Tech (Mechanical/Automobile), M.E/M.Tech specialized in Machine Design, CAD/CAM or Strength of Materials with interest in Vehicle dynamics is Preferable
Overall Experience: 3 – 6 years with or without masters, only relevant to Vehicle dynamics involving usage of multi-body simulation package ADAMS (preference) or SIMPACK, Motion solve etc.
Skillset/Tool Knowledge:
- Adams/Car, Adams/View, Adams/Vibration, Adams/Insight
- Adams Command Language programming, Matlab/Python programming to automate tasks
Desirable but not essential:
- Application of AI/ML methods in CAE
- Active participation in objective measurement of Vehicle dynamics metrics
- Exposure to VI Car Real time tool
