About the team:
CVS Japan Order Management team serves as a core part of the CVS Japan supply chain, ensuring smooth execution of the entire order process—from receiving customer orders to final delivery. Our vision is to become a professional team that maximizes customer satisfaction through accurate, fast, and flexible support. We work closely with warehouse, production, inventory, and procurement related teams to achieve efficient order handling from a holistic perspective. As a small but very specialized team, we provide agile and responsive service. Going forward, OM team aim to improve operational efficiency through the adoption of EDI and automation tools.
What you can look forward to as Order Management Specialist:
- Accurately process customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring completeness and compliance with company standards.
- Monitor order status and proactively manage delays; coordinate with 3PL suppliers for packing, shipping, and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the procurement team to prevent stockouts and delays.
- Issue invoices and maintain accurate records of pricing, product details, and delivery terms.
- Identify and resolve order-related issues such as shipment delays or stock discrepancies in a customer-focused manner.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline order management processes.
- Maintain accurate order and shipment records; generate regular reports on key operational metrics.
- Prepare internal documents (invoices, payment/delivery requests) and provide administrative support for Site DC08 operations.
Your profile as Oder management Specialist:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in order management, logistics, or customer service roles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in order management or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to solve problems independently using standard procedures and escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Business-level Japanese and English preferred (if applicable to your company).
