What you can look forward to as Business Travel Expert (m/f/d):
- Travel Policy Management: Develop, implement, and maintain travel policies; ensure compliance
- Travel Expense Processes: Streamline travel expense processes with accounting; monitor expenses
- Collaboration: Work with security and safety teams; coordinate with departments; handle travel-related inquiries
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with travel vendors; negotiate contracts; monitor vendor performance
- Travel Agency Liaison: Act as primary contact for travel agencies; ensure high-quality service
- Processmanagement: Enhance business travel booking processes; support agencies and vendors, Ensure travel expenses stay within budget
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to employees on travel policies and expense reporting
Your Profile as Business Travel Expert (m/f/d):
Necessary qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Travel Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in travel management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of travel policies, expense processes, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in travel management software and tools.
Skills you will need
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle travel-related issues.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor and manage travel expenses.
- Working proficiency in English (German is a plus)
