We are recruiting for a Senior AI Research Engineer to join our cutting edge AI team. As a Senior AI Research Engineer, you will lead the development of state-of-the-art AI solutions for automotive innovation, mentor teams, and drive the integration of AI into core business workflows. What You'll Do
As a Senior Ai Research Engineer you’ll: Lead the research, design, and implementation of SOTA AI models (e.g., LLMs, Stable Diffusion) and frameworks for automotive use cases. Optimise AI models through fine-tuning, pre-training, and RAG approaches, ensuring scalability and performance. Develop systematic R&D frameworks for evaluating AI solutions and emerging technologies. Oversee end-to-end data pipeline development (collection, cleaning, standardization) for automotive datasets. Implement scalable ML workflows and orchestrators on-premises and in cloud environments (AWS, Azure). Ensure AI solutions comply with data protection, safety, and ethical guidelines. Mentor cross-functional teams and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and simulation teams to embed AI into workflows. Champion AI adoption across the organization, demonstrating long-term value. Integrate MLOps/LLMOps practices for seamless model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
What You'll Bring
· Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in Computer Science, Computational Science, or Data Science. 4–6 years of experience in deep learning, transformers, and AI model development (language/vision applications). Hands-on expertise in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, LangChain, and open-source contributions (GitHub). Proven experience with MLOps/LLMOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow) and scalable AI deployment. Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), GPU/HPC systems, and CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency in software engineering principles: APIs, algorithms, data structures, and databases. Leadership skills to mentor teams and collaborate cross-functionally. Passion for AI ethics, data security, and automotive innovation. Desirable: Experience with AI-driven agents, workflow automation, or UI development. Familiarity with automotive datasets or simulation tools. Contributor to open-source projects e.g. github
