About this Position:
Perform machine shop; tooling preset and tool regrind activities
Responsibilities include:
Manual Mill
Manual Lathe
Grinding
Welding
Miscellaneous handwork
Manual and CNC regrinding
Presetting of holders and cutters
Small tear down and assembly jobs
Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
Minimum two years of machine shop or cutting tool regrind experience preferred.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Desired skills:
Read and understand blueprints.
Machine shop or cutting tool preset and regrind experience.
Ability to use micrometers calipers, etc.
Troubleshoot and countermeasure manufacturing related issues of low to moderate complexity
Organization skills
Effective time management.
Flexible team player.
Self-motivation
.
Additional Position Factors:
0-12 hours overtime per week.
Occasional weekend and holiday work as needed.
Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift long term.
1-week domestic travel potential per year for training.
Possible travel with training and new machine installations
