Tasks

Our tool mechanics require a high degree of precision, manual dexterity, and a keen eye for detail: they manufacture highly complex punching and forming tools for Porsche's distinctive design. Due to the highest quality requirements for body sheet metal parts, the job of tool mechanic is very demanding and requires in-depth training that paves the way to a secure future. One of the core tasks of our tool mechanics is to oversee tool testing at the Schwarzenberg site until its use in the production press and to ensure its functionality.

Modern training conditions Use of machining methods such as drilling, grinding, turning, and milling, both conventional and CNC-controlled, at modern CAD workstations Familiarity with the entire process chain from development to series production of press tools Independent collaboration in the manufacture of tools, fixtures, and test gauges Participation in interdisciplinary special projects and workshops, as well as the opportunity to participate in (inter)national exchange programs You will deepen what you have learned through practical experience in the production department with your trainee group.
